Dr Catherine Hershaw Catherine completed her dental undergraduate training at Cardiff University, where she was awarded the Janetta Cohen Prize. She then gained valuable experience working in a range of hospital posts, including Restorative and Paediatric Dentistry, as well as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing her Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, she pursued specialist training in Orthodontics.
Her orthodontic training included working at Guy’s Hospital, London, and the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, Brighton. Catherine earned a Distinction in her Master’s degree in Orthodontics and was awarded the Philip Walther Prize from King’s College London. She later received her Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Catherine has published and presented research both nationally and internationally, and she is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society, striving to stay current with the latest developments in orthodontic practice. She takes great pride in positively impacting her patients’ lives by enhancing their self-confidence and smiles.
In her spare time, Catherine enjoys ice skating, yoga and squash, and she is passionate about opera and musicals.
